The Duna Art Ensemble embarked on a nationwide tour to introduce folk dance and its traditions to elementary school children as widely as possible. At their station in Komló, they hit the strings and invited the students to dance.

In the framework of an interactive lesson, the Danube Art Group presented the dances and types of dances of many Carpathian basin landscapes, the repertoire included verbunk, cárdás, various jumping dances and the hoop dance. The children were able to get to know the costumes, typical melodies and musical instruments of the specific ethnographic regions.

In front of the dance hall organized in the Komlói Sports Center School district director Ákos László Tóth, mayor József Polics and municipal representative Anett Schalpha greeted the students.

The upper elementary school students from Komló could first observe the presentation of the various dances, and then they themselves could learn the characteristic steps of the regions and different cultural circles.
