Police officers were waiting for the woman at the Astana airport, who simply fell asleep after her arrest, and when she woke up, she claimed that she did not remember what had happened, they write.
The rest of the plane’s passengers finally landed three hours late at the Incheon airport in South Korea, where the Korean police already treated the woman, who is believed to be unable to survive the incident.
In accordance with the aviation safety regulations, similar disturbances endangering the safety of air traffic can be punished with imprisonment of up to 3 years or a fine of up to HUF 8 million.
The Polish airline said in connection with the case that the woman will be banned from the airline’s flights and will also be held responsible for the payment of the material damages caused.
