The government decision signed by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is about the integration of individual public collections into the Public Collection Center of the Hungarian National Museum.

“In order to develop the cultural institutional system and fulfill cultural tasks at an outstanding level, the Government agrees that the Hungarian National Museum will continue to operate under the name of the Hungarian National Museum Public Collection Center,” read the latest Hungarian Gazette.

The government calls on the minister responsible for culture and innovation, as well as the heads of the listed budget bodies, to prepare the necessary legislative amendments, organizational and employer measures, as well as appropriation reallocations.
