A XXIII. district elementary school because they smelled a pungent gas on Wednesday morning, the deputy spokesperson of the Metropolitan Disaster Management Directorate told MTI. The signal came to them shortly before a quarter past eight that a XXIII. they smell a pungent smell in the district elementary school. 500 students left the school before the fire brigade arrived.

The disaster prevention mobile laboratory carried out measurements, according to the results of which the presence of dangerous substances could not be detected in the air. According to MTI, 70 children at the Török Flóris Primary School in Dinnyhegyi közi complained of feeling unwell, and the ambulances that arrived at the scene took care of them.

Pál Győrfi told MTI by phone that ten ambulances were called to the scene, and according to primary information, none of the children was in a serious condition, and his colleagues did not find any serious injuries.

The children reported that they felt a pungent smell, and then they had scratchy throats and dizziness, he added, adding that if necessary, 30-35 children can be taken to the Pál Heim National Pediatric Institute, where they can be examined further.
