The new Suzuki Vitara will soon arrive in car dealerships
The latest, updated version of the Suzuki Vitara, manufactured in Esztergom, debuted in early April, and serial production will begin in Esztergom in May. HVG also believes it knows how much the new model will cost.
The front-wheel drive, equipped with a 1.4-liter turbo gasoline engine, six-speed manual transmission, mild hybrid GL version base price HUF 7.79 million may.

The new Vitara is primarily recognizable by its slightly modified radiator grille, front bumper, new rims and paintwork. In the interior, in addition to the further development of the driving support and safety systems, the infotainment display, which has been increased from 7 to 9 inches, is also new.

The calculations were based on the median income of HUF 338,500 reported by the Ministry of the Interior. Also, the portal started from the fact that someone collects for the largest number of registered models of a given category.
The most popular small car was the Swift 1.2 GL in Hungary in the first quarter of 2024 based on Datahouse data. This is available at a list price of HUF 6,880,000. This amount can be saved in 20.3 months if someone is able to set aside an amount equivalent to a median average wage per month.
In the mini category, the Fiat 500 was the best seller, despite being slightly more expensive than the Swift. The HUF 7,005,000 price can be collected in 20.7 months.
The opening price of the Skoda Octavia, the leader of the lower middle category, was HUF 10,931,158. Thus, you can buy the Czech car with 32 months of savings.
And in the urban SUV category, the Suzuki Vitara (the earlier version that is still available) was the most sought-after with a list price of HUF 8,490,000 (since then it can be bought cheaper – ed.). This requires saving for 25 months.
Higher price category cars require at least 48-50 months of savings.
