The three-year-old Csepel boy who fell from the fifth floor was released from intensive care

--

The three-year-old boy who fell fifteen meters from the window of their fifth-floor apartment last Friday in Csepel is better off, Blikk reports.

The little boy only broke three ribs and one vertebra, but his head was not damaged at all. This is due to a bush catching his fall.

His mother told Blikk that he was taking a shower, but the grandmother and her other children were also in the apartment, who, according to her, only left the little boy alone in the room for two minutes. The window was ajar, as usual, but the little boy somehow managed to open it while standing on the bed. “At first we thought he was just hiding, but looking down from the window we already saw that a passer-by was desperately guarding him on the ground. Both of his footprints were on the ledge, so he didn’t fall out, but jumped out,” the mother told Blikk.

He immediately ran down to the street, where he saw that the little boy was lying on the ground, but crying. Ambulances also quickly arrived on the scene, and the boy was taken to the Accident Institute by the ambulance. After an X-ray at the hospital, it was found that he survived the fall with a few fractures and a bruised lung, as well as a slight concussion.

He has already been released from the intensive care unit, and is expected to return home within a few days.
