Another development at the Szentes location of Bodrogi Építési és Barkácsáruház!
On April 23, 2024, the new showroom at the Bodrogi Építési és Barkácsáruház site in Szentes was officially handed over.
The store is the market-leading building materials dealer in Szentes and the surrounding settlements of Csongrád-Csanád county, and operates as a family business with several locations. The company group employs a total of 365 employees, 7 people are currently employed at the Szentes site, but the number of employees is planned to be increased. The sales space in the new showroom is 300 m2, three times the size of the old location.
The dancers of Szilver TSE and the students of Szent Erzsébet Catholic Primary School performed at the solemn event.
Mayor Ferenc Zoltán Szabó mentioned the Szilver TSE dancers in his welcome speech, and assured the support of the city administration for the companies operating in the city. He touched on the fact that nearly 4,000 businesses operate in the city, and the Municipality of Szentes supports and cooperates with them.

With the presence of businesses, the city can also develop, create jobs, and raise the level of services.” The mayor said that he has visited companies frequently in recent years, and this week he participated in several such visits, so he knows the opportunities but also the problems. The city’s economy is stable, and the development of trade and the construction industry, and of course the businesses, help us a lot. We trust in development, the creation of new jobs, and the power of cooperation, he added. It’s a pleasure to see when a company organizes such events, it’s a good feeling to enjoy the success together.
In his opening speech, Ferenc Bodrogi touched on the situation of construction companies, the quality of the products provided by the Bodrogi Store, the quality requirements of materials on construction sites and the establishment of current prices. We were also able to gain insight into the history of the expansion of the store, and he presented the construction products they sell. He talked about the current expansions and added that the owners of Újház Zrt. guarantee excellent quality and value for money.
