PVSK-Mecsek Füszért’s men’s water polo team won a start-to-finish victory in the Ob I. play-out in the second match against KSI, and thus came one step away from staying in.
In the last few weeks, Rakonjac Zlatko’s team could perfectly recognize their opponent, since this month they played against each other for the third time in the pool, and based on this, Pécs is clearly the better team, since they won every meeting. Now, Kolozsi’s hit from the man advantage put the first shovelful of coal in the Vasút’s boiler, and from there there was no stopping, the hosts couldn’t even equalize.
With this success, Pécs already has a huge advantage, as they can play the next battle at home, and their opponent can only stay in if they win three in a row against them.
