– We are very happy that we were able to organize such a large-scale event again. Also because this way we can show how much our knowledge center has developed over the past three years. I am very proud of my colleagues because I know how much they have worked in recent years, said the director.

Talent is supported

Judit Vereczkei, head of the Tatabánya Education Center, said in her speech that talent development is a priority area in public education, of which the Kőkúti school is a very good example. He added that the event gives parents and teachers the opportunity to share their experiences.

Zsófia Nagy-Vargha, Deputy State Secretary responsible for youth, also greeted the participants of the professional day and the children. He revealed that until now he had only seen on paper how the work in such a talent center was done. Now it is a great pleasure for him to personally experience the work that takes place in the school.

They help everyone

“It’s a real holiday for me if I can go to a place where the main actors of talent management are in one place.” The talented young people here would probably not be able to assert themselves without their environment. I would like to encourage you to look at the possibilities. The National Talent Program covers all areas of talent in every part of the country. The talents and the teachers who look after them can surely find suitable support and opportunities for them – said the state secretary, who emphasized that it is not the first time that he is in Tata, where there are many programs for young people and held for young people there is an event.

They could try it

After the greetings, the main role belonged to the children, who could test their talents in several more interesting programs. At six locations, the junior high school students were expected, among other things, to learn about LEGO-math robotics. But they could play logic and strategy games, get to know geometry in a playful way, try out various playful teaching aids, but also learn about floor robots and the activities of the robotics department.
