According to the announcement, during the program launched in 2022, 120,000 devices were distributed to teachers and students in the first round, last year another 140,000 devices were distributed, and now another 193,000 devices are on the way. THE in addition to laptops, they also provide children with background content and additional knowledge to “learn to use digital devices responsibly and consciously”. And for modern, touchscreen Dell, Asus, HP and Lenovo brand machines a three-year warranty is also included.

Laptops within the framework of the HUF 200 billion project it is also delivered to the students of the smallest settlementsnot only to state institutions, but also to institutions maintained by church, private and national governments. Students can use “name-only” machines in schools, in which they can take notes and download their own content.

At school, even those children whose parents do not receive the device will receive the devices.

Gabriella Hajnal, the president of the Klebelsberg Center (KK), called it important that the students use the assigned machines, not only in class, but also outside of school. He added: in autumn, another notebook package will be distributed and the public procurement of ten thousand interactive panels has also started.
