The KEHI established that “A-Híd Zrt., which carried out the renovation of the Chain Bridge, repeatedly transferred more than one and a half billion forints to Vig Mór’s company”, and the company then transferred this to Vig Mór’s private account and lawyer’s escrow account. From there, Mór Vig took HUF 900 million in cash. Vig Mór’s company also transferred HUF 500 million to the escrow account of another lawyer, which was also withdrawn in cash. “Well, these funds reached the City Hall through intermediaries,” says Budai.
Based on all this, the investigative office ordered an investigation.
