This year, the Day of Memorials will also be held at the Hétkápolna church in Vác, on May 11. The shrine and its surroundings received the designation of Historical Monument from the National Heritage Institute several years ago, so it is one of the locations of the national series of events again and again.
On May 11, the organizers are waiting for all interested people with cultural and musical programs at the Hétkápolna. The event will focus on serving the public good and helping those who have fallen.
“Our goal is to do something for the common good, which is the road that the rescue engine will take us on. We want to support rescue and help those who have fallen. We would like to dedicate our occasion to this goal,” the organizers write in their statement.
Participation in the programs is completely free, and during the day, anyone who wishes can support the service of the rescue motorcycles with donation tickets.

15:00 Presentation of the Ambulance Motorcycle Service of the National Rescue Service, presentation of equipment and an informal discussion with motorcyclists.
3:30 p.mPéter Cservenák’s local history presentation about the miracle stories of the Vác Hétkapolna and National Defense Memorial.
16:00 Dr. Miklós Beer, a retired bishop, celebrates a festive mass and blesses the ambulances.
17:00 A musical performance by László Imre Nótakör, a short end-of-day concert.
