Last year, more than 690,000 spectators visited Budapest Park, and based on forecasts, another record can be set this year. In the thirteenth season, starting on April 25, they will strengthen the experience of safe and quality night entertainment with completely new visual solutions.

This year, Budapest Park will focus on the time period following the concerts, i.e. the night parties, where visitors will be able to experience spectacular innovations. As the founder and CEO of Budapest Park, András Pálffy said at the opening press conference:

“From the beginning, we strive to provide a complex festival experience, in addition to professional technical and personnel preparation, we await them with a lot of additional programs. With us, life doesn’t stop after the concert – every event is followed by parties on several dance floors. In terms of quality, we are making huge progress this year in terms of the visual appearance of nightlife, and I am confident that this impressive scenery will help Budapest Park show the domestic public a new face of safe and quality night entertainment this year.”

Budapest Park will be completely transformed from 10 p.m. on each program day – the nightlife starts with intro music written by Hundred Sins, one of the most popular producers in Hungary, and an amazing theater of light begins. In the four different dance spaces (big dance space, Dzungel, Hoppá and Unicum Retro Garden) we can meet different spectacular show elements. Behind the new, creative visuals are recognized artists, whom the audience may already know from the INOTA Festival and the Fénydóm, among others.

In addition to the spectacle, we will welcome many famous DJs behind the turntables, and several new party series will also start, such as the Surreality Nights with additional surprising show elements on April 26, or the Universe, which specifically invites university students to dance. But, of course, popular parties like the Tesco Disco or Lidocain Night will also return.

The main role continues to be the concerts, which will be opened by Blahalouisiana, who recently released a new album, on April 25, the next day, the Honeybeast team will guide the listeners into the world of their sometimes sad, sometimes cheerful pop music, and on Saturday, a real curiosity follows: The Guardians of the Rapgalaxy will unite for an evening , that is, the hottest faces of rap, trap, hip-hop and new-wave pop music will take the microphone to each other – among others, Sisi, 6363 and Saiid will also perform, and they will also bring the scene’s hottest surprise guests with them. The presenter will be Dávid Miller. After that, the Necc Party starts.

In the season that lasts until the end of September, the crème de la crème of the Hungarian light music scene takes place on the stage of Budapest Park. In view of the huge success, their joint show with the József Katona Theater, the Csinibaba Dance and Song Festival, will be held again on May 23. Random Trip is giving the biggest concert of its fifteen years of existence so far; Analog Balaton is preparing for its first independent concert in the park; Elefán presents his new album called NOTHING; and Quimby is also returning to the Park stage.

In addition to the domestic performers, we can also welcome a lot of international star productions to our country this year. Take That is visiting Hungary for the first time in its more than thirty-year career; after last year’s nearly sold-out concert, Parov Stelar returns; After 10 years, Dropkick Murphys, traveling through punk rock music with Celtic roots, will be back on the Park stage; Yungblud is preparing for his first solo concert in Hungary; British Bring Me The Horizon will take the stage with new songs.

There will be two occasions during the year when the little ones can party in the Park: at the Pöttömkert children’s program in May, families can meet with music, skill-developing games and the deployment of non-governmental organizations, while in August, at the Pöttömkert Extra event, the Farkasházi Réka is preparing a large-scale birthday concert with many guests. and the Ink Rabbit.

In addition, they are once again home to various allied art sectors. In this, they have such well-known institutional partners as the Capa Center, the Ludwig Museum, the József Katona Theater or the House of Hungarian Music.

Service charge instead of tip, barrier-free drink cards

In addition to the previously mentioned spectacular visual improvements, the Park is also fine-tuning its operation based on feedback. For example, they examined how much the visitors used to tip on average over the entire season, according to the indicator, it is one and a half percent. From now on, this item will be included as a service fee – the full amount of which, according to the law, will be received by the bar staff – and the possibility of additional tipping will be completely abolished. But visitors can also encounter other innovations at the counters: for example, drink labels are made with enlarged font size for the blind and visually impaired, as well as Braille writing.

In the thirteenth season, which runs until the end of September, they are preparing a lot of surprises, and you can follow the constantly expanding offer on the budapestpark.hu website.
