At dawn on Friday, a building burned down in its entirety in Zselickislak, and two cars crashed on the roof of Töröcske in the morning hours.
A passenger car caught fire on Friday on the side of the M7 highway heading towards Budapest, near Balatonszemes. Balatonboglár municipal firefighters extinguished the flames with a water jet, then searched the entire car for other hot spots.
A car pulling a trailer drove into a ditch and damaged a telecommunications pole on Saturday, on the road between Boronka and Csömend. In the case of the accident, the professional firefighters from Marcal carried out the technical rescue. The driver was the only passenger in the vehicle, who was injured in the accident.
On Saturday, in Vak Bottyán Street in Balatonszabadi, a twelve-meter-high tree overturned in the strong wind. Professional firefighters from Siófok cut the dangerous plant from a ladder with a chainsaw. And on the outskirts of Fonyód, a ten-meter tree fell onto the road, where the Balatonboglár municipal and local volunteer firefighters intervened.
