This year too, Budapest Park is preparing for numerous improvements and concerts by world stars, the 13th season of which starts on Thursday with the concert of Blahalouisiana.

“We would like to surpass last year’s record, almost 700,000 people visited us in 2023. This year, the focus of our innovations is on the period after 10 p.m., i.e. the after-party, when those who want to have fun can encounter previously unseen visual elements after the concerts. Our goal is world class”

– said founder and CEO András Pálffy at Tuesday’s press conference.

He explained that the opening of Budapest Park is preceded by an eight- to ten-month organizational period every year. The construction of the site takes three months, and hundreds of people work on it.

Art and operations manager Imre Rimóczi talked about how the appearance of the venues underwent a major transformation, and they were expanded with lots of LED lights and visual surfaces. “Popular producer Hundred Sins has written intro music for us, the after party will start every night with this and an amazing light show, which will be helped by hundreds of lights and kilometers of LEDs”.

The team working at the Inota Festival and Fénydóm contributed to the creation of this year’s visuals of Budapest Park. Imre Rimóczi said that the outstanding attraction of this year’s Park, the two huge light heads above the main entrance, previously visited the Ozora Festival, and now they came from the Amsterdam Light Festival.

said Imre Rimóczi.
