Last year, the Győr Art and Festival Center organized the city’s music talent search competition, Színpadra Fel!, with the intention of creating a tradition. Following the success, singers, musicians, and disc jockeys are welcome to apply again this year, regardless of genre.

As we reported earlier, last year’s winner, the frontman of Honey Jeans, Pálfi Bogi, will also sit behind the jury table this year and will also help the participants as a mentor. The Győr Arts and Festival Center recently unveiled the second member of the jury, who will be none other than Csaba Boros, the frontman of Republic.
In recent days, the jury has been expanded, the third member of which will be DJ Spigiboy, the vice president of the DJ Association. Up on the Stage! disc jockeys are also welcome to apply for this year’s competition, and the submitted videos will be judged by none other than Spigiboy, who has decades of professional experience. Music is the life of the DJ, recognized in our country, and he considers it important to help the record players of the future generation.
The 2nd and 3rd place winners of the disc jockeys who prove themselves in the competition will have the opportunity to show their talent at the Radó Matinee, and the first place winner of the category will be able to take the stage on July 20, after the REPUBLIC concert at Dunakapu Square.

Up on the Stage! Singers and musicians from Győr-Moson-Sopron counties over the age of 14, as well as disc jockeys this year, are welcome to apply for the musical talent search, which can be done on the szinpadrafel.hu website. Entries and productions received by May 31 will be judged by iconic figures of Hungarian music life, the final will be held as part of the charity Győr Rotary Fröccsnapok on July 20, at Dunakapu square. This will be recorded this year, and it will also be possible to follow it live on the Internet.
