This year, he also participated in the programs of the nationally organized Digital Theme Week of the Sárszentmiklós Primary School. This year, the students and their preparatory teachers prepared for the theme week with the topic “City”. They drew lots, and that’s how it was decided who would present which city. During the competition, everyone dealt with one city. Thus, 5.a Debrecen, 5.b Esztergom, 6.a Pécs, 6.b Eger, 7.a Székesfehérvár, 7.b Szekszárd, 8.a Szeged, 8.b Sopron were given.
The task of the participating classes was to present the information collected during the lessons (celebrities, interesting facts, population, singers, music, athletes) about the given cities. Lower school students also took part in the competition, they filled out worksheets, crosswords, word searches, drew and built cities, made word clouds and posted online puzzles during the Digital Theme Week. On the Thursday of the topic week, the informatics specialists held an interesting presentation for the lower grades. They brought the robots to life and gave a short report on their construction and operation. The children brought LEGO vehicles assembled at home to school.
