In Budapest, on Saturday, the girls’ water polo players of the Aqua Sport Association played a national championship match, in the national girls’ children’s II age group. In the open 50-meter pool of the Hajós Alfréd Sports Center, the Nyíregyháza youth team clashed with the girls’ team of KSI SE and then BVSC Zugló. The group leader KSI proved that it is not without merit that it leads the group undefeated, our girls held their own very well in the first two quarters, but the home team, which is physically stronger and has a “longer” bench, crushed our efforts. In the second match, it was clear that BVSC really wanted to fight back for the defeat in Nyíregyháza. they started the match anyway, unfortunately we fell asleep a bit in the first quarter. It felt like we played the two games one after the other and only managed to pick up the pace in the second quarter, but by then the score was already 0:3. The girls fought hard, we held our own for a long time, in the end fatigue also played a role in the difference.
