The Tatai Városgazda Nonprofit Kft. wants to protect the town’s values. This is one of the reasons why a warning sign was placed near the “Floating” Sycamore on the shores of Lake Cseke.

Shared on the company’s social media page in video reported that, unfortunately, a sign had to be put up next to the Cseke lake landmark, because many people saw the famous tree as a playground.

– This tree is one of the attractions of Tata, which was named by the Csurgó-kút Association in 2022 tree of the year competition, which he won. Unfortunately, many people do not spare it, climb on it, jump on it, so we have now put up a warning sign, we hope the situation will improve – said Dr. Richárd Szerencsi, the managing director of the company, who says that you can still take great pictures of the wonderful tree if someone doesn’t climb or sit on it, but just stands next to it. He also emphasized that special care was taken when placing the board to ensure that it did not cause any damage to the root system or the soil.
“I ask everyone who comes here to take care of our value, so that it will be here for at least another 250 years,” asked the company manager.
