One of the stops in the program series of the Budapest Operett Theater entitled “Cintányéros cudar világ, or the operetta goes to the house” Hold on volt. You had to register for the operetta gala, as the capacity of the cultural center is limited. In addition to the locals, spectators also came from Almásfüzitő, Baj, Pilismaró, Tarján, Vértesszőlős and Vértestolna.

Tibor Csabán, the representative of the settlement, told Kemma.hu that the technical staff of the theater arrived in the early afternoon and built the set, visuals, and prepared the sound system. A full house, 180 operetta fans awaited the artists. Before the performance, Béla Csabán, the mayor of the village, greeted those present. From the first moment of the performance to the last measure, the audience lived and hummed along with the artists.

The operetta was an experience

Many, many well-known songs were played, from “Szép város Cluj-Napoca” to “Cintányéros cudar vól” to the encore “Péter Hajmási, Pál Hajmási”. Of course, there were also duets and solos and you could hear the four artists sing together. According to the representative Hold on the program certainly lived up to the expectations, since the majority of viewers could only see prima donnas, soubrettes, and bon vivants on television. It says everything about the quality of the gala that every song was rewarded with a standing ovation by the great artist. Everyone left the cultural center in Tardos rich with experiences. The performance was created within the framework of the Petőfi Cultural Program.
