Do you always get lost in the Csala landfill? This is over from May!

You no longer have to deal with demolition or hazardous waste at the Csala Waste Landfill. From the beginning of May, the garbage delivered there will be deposited almost right next to the entrance, at the public waste collection point inaugurated on Earth Day.

From the beginning of May, those coming to Csala will only have to take their household waste just 100 meters from the entrance to the waste yard. Thus, in a week and a half, you will no longer have to drive for long minutes, avoid trucks, or, if appropriate, drive around with trailers on the site, if anyone brings demolition waste or electronic waste to Csala. Residents will be able to deposit all types of residential waste in one place.

“The longest distance that residents have to walk is within 100 meters of the entrance.

Here everything will be in one place – from hazardous and electronic waste, through green waste, to construction and demolition waste – everything can be deposited here in one place,

in much more cultured conditions than before, in a much shorter time and, last but not least, much more simply,” Tibor Steigerwald, managing director of Depónia Nonprofit Kft., told the most important information about the landfill moving to a new location.

In recent years, a lot of development has taken place at the farm, it was said at the handover.

As the mayor of Fehérvár emphasized at the handover of the new residential waste collection point, Depónia and Continus Nova remain municipal companies, but since the beginning of the year they no longer operate as public service providers, but as subcontractors of MOHU. They can only increase their income if they provide increasingly high-quality services, but this requires continuous development.

“Some of the developments here came from EU funds, others are the result of the cooperation of different municipalities thanks to the association, but the municipality of Fehérvár also provides funds for this from time to time, and Depónia and Continus Nova can also start their own developments at the expense of their own results . The result of all this is an orderly environment, where we still talk on Earth Day, so that we also have to add that the cyclical economy is also getting stronger, i.e. not only does waste arrive here, which is dumped here, but an ever-increasing proportion of it is already recycled.” – emphasized András Cser-Palkovics.

Annamária Östör also took part in the handing over of the new residential waste collection point. The municipal representative of Csala emphasized that the residents of Csala also benefited a lot from the fact that Depónia moved to its current location together with its offices and has been continuously improving its premises ever since. Now there is also a local bus in the direction of the settlement, which transports both the company’s employees and the people living in Csalán, and at the same time, thanks to Depónia’s developments, broadband internet has finally reached the settlement, since with the relocation of Depónia’s office building – as part of the company’s investment – the underground cable from the city center to here was pulled out, and the cabling from the border of Csala to the houses was provided by the Municipality of Székesfehérvár.
