An integrated playground is being built in Dunakeszin Danube river

--

More and more cool playgrounds are being built in Dunakeszin. Tourist professionals and families living here report that they hold special playground tours because there are so many super climbing areas in the city. However, there are children who cannot climb the fireman’s slide or the huge towers. The local government is also paying attention to them: a professional consultation was called in order to create an integrated playground.

It was difficult for Barbara Bőgér and Anikó Bőgér to find words after the consultation, which is no wonder, since according to them it is a huge thing that such a playground can be realized in Dunakesz. “We are so grateful,” said Hemela Holli’s mother, Barbara Bőgér, in a choked voice.

“It’s a huge help.

I cannot express in words what this means to us and to families like ours.

We were all happy to buy the new playgrounds, as we also have healthy children in our family, and it’s good to see how sophisticated and imaginative climbing frames have been placed in different parts of the city. When we heard the news that they thought of us, we felt amazing joy, this is the greatest gift we can receive from the city,” said Anikó Bőgér, Holli’s grandmother.

The Bőgér family highlighted in their statement that it is also great that the municipality provides opportunities for the education of children with special needs in its institutions, as they said, it is rare that a city pays so much attention to the special needs of its residents.

A professional consultation precedes the implementation of the playground

Mayor Csaba Dióssi said after the consultation that this development is a matter of course, at least in Dunakeszin. “Other agglomeration settlements are struggling with what we have already managed to solve, but there is no stopping, we are constantly looking for new opportunities. First, we solved the kindergarten and daycare places, and renovated the playgrounds. After that, I think it is legitimate to see who else we can help. This is how SEN training came to be in the city, from nursery school to school, and now we want families raising disabled children to find the right pastime for them in their free time, which is why we want to build an integrated playground.

The meeting was convened in order not to choose spectacular tools from the colorful brochures, but ones that the children involved would actually enjoy.

Valéria Szabóné Ónodi, head of the DÓHSZK, said that these families have the same, or even greater, need for social relations.

Among others, the city’s head gardener Eszter Tóth, who is responsible for the design of the playgrounds, and Valéria Szabóné Ónodi, head of the DÓHSZK, took part in the meeting.

“It is important that they feel that they are not alone with these problems.

They need to be able to play together. This social development, the joint game, supports the development process that professionals carry out in our institutions, as well as in the pedagogical service and other development occupations. This not only has a positive effect on them, but also on those families raising healthy children who can also use such playgrounds. It is important that such an investment is realized with extensive consultation, which is why the mayor asked the opinion of the Bőgér family, who have already tried several such playgrounds, and that is why we also asked the guardians, who wholeheartedly support the realization of the playground,” said Valéria Szabóné Ónodi .
