The pilot program that has just been launched also serves these purposes.

In the framework of the program, non-refundable support can be provided to the employer who provides the opportunity to choose a job for at least 5 severely disadvantaged jobseekers.

A seriously disadvantaged jobseeker is a jobseeker who has been registered for at least 24 months or a jobseeker who has been registered for at least 12 months and who meets at least one of the following conditions: under 24 years of age, or without a secondary education/vocational qualification, or over 50 years of age, or alone with a dependent a living adult, possibly a member of an ethnic group – detailed the state secretary.

During the three months of the support, up to 100 percent wage support can be used, which means a maximum of HUF 200,000 per month in the case of 6-hour working hours. During this period, the hired employee can also receive an incentive to stay at work, the monthly amount of which is HUF 53,000.

If the job seeker proves to be suitable, in the case of continued employment, the employer can receive wage support for another 6 months with a maximum intensity of 50 percent, up to HUF 200,000 per month. During this period, and in addition for another 3 months, the hired employee can receive a benefit to encourage them to stay at work, the monthly amount of which is 25 percent of the minimum wage, i.e. HUF 67,000.

Within the framework of the project, a total of HUF 1.8 million in wage subsidies can be applied for per job seeker in one year, while the individual can receive an additional HUF 760,000 benefit on top of the wage.

Enterprises can also apply for support for the salary costs of specialists (mentors) who contribute to the assessment and development of the workforce, as well as helping them stay in work.

The pilot program is run by the OFA National Employment Nonprofit Limited Liability Company, detailed information is available on their website, the state secretary said.
