Vajk’s archers are preparing for this year’s competitions

The archers of Rácalmás SE Vajk are taking advantage of the good weather that arrived early and are preparing for this year’s competitions in full swing, Gábor Szendrey summarized their most important news. We know from him that the School Archery Championship is still taking place during the school year, the qualification competitions of which will be held first, and then the national finals will take place in the first days of June. The people of Rácalmás want to reach this final with as many children as possible. They are also preparing for the usual 3D competitions. Their goal was to participate in the national finals, and if the results show, they would participate with three competitors in the World Championships in September, which will be hosted by Austria.

On March 31, in very nice, almost summer weather, Vajk members took part in a competition organized by Ráckeve. The Easter competition went very well, everyone really enjoyed it. The results praise the supply. First place: Lili Szendrey, Olivér Fehérvári, Dusán Porubszky, Lilla Pinczés, Nikolett Pinczés. Klér Noel, Vajk’s youngest athlete, came second! Among the adults, Tibor László took 3rd place. Also participating were: Margit Peczen, Csaba Elhart, Péter Pinczés, Béla Kundakker and Gábor Szendrey.
