There are also villages in our Vármegyen – such as Királyszentistván – which draw attention to this by the “Beginning of inhabited area” and “Speed limit” signs placed together at the borders of their entrance roads. It’s true, there are 40 restriction signs there. What about in Veszprém, to hang around with thirty? This is somehow not realistic.

Together, the signs indicate that no more than thirty people can drive in the entire city

In essence, it means that outside of the high season, Kiskőrösi utca, and beyond that, any point in the city can be reached by the route described above. If someone takes the two signs shown in the photo together like this seriously, and is also a rule follower, they will surely be hit with thirty. On the other hand, you can see a lamp post a few meters away from the sign for the beginning of the residential area. It would be a good solution to place the 30 sign there, and it will soon be clear that the speed limit does not apply to all of Veszprém. This would save setting up a new column and make the rules clear. Because as it currently is – still – it misleads motorists. Law-abiding motorists.
