According to the indictment, shortly after the 20-year-old man, in the afternoon of February 2, 2023, in downtown Veszprém, turned his car onto the road opposite the bus station, he got into a conflict with the driver of the car in front of him due to a traffic situation, the Prosecutor’s Office announced on its website.
The defendant quickly overtook the vehicle, then in order to retaliate against the conflict, he suddenly braked his car to a standstill.
The victim was no longer able to stop in time, so he collided with the vehicle that stopped unexpectedly.
As a result of the collision, the victim’s car was damaged to the tune of HUF 100,000.
The prosecutor’s office requested the Veszprém District Court to issue a criminal sentence against the accused, including a suspended prison sentence and a driving ban, as well as an obligation to pay HUF 290,000 in criminal costs.
