Zoltán Varga (DK) asked about the planned national vaccine factory in Debrecen, referring to the fact that the factory should have been producing for a year, but the construction has stopped, but the costs are increasing. Will the national vaccine factory ever be built, what are they planning to produce there and what kind of work did the 22 employees do last year for a salary of 321 million? – asked.
Eszter Vitályos, the parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, rejected the statement of the opposition representative. He underlined: the investment will be implemented by the University of Debrecen, the shell structure of the building hall will be completed by December 2022, and the procurement of production equipment is currently underway.
The works are proceeding according to the schedule, the factory will be built

It is worth recalling here that the foundation stone of the factory was laid on September 5, 2021, where the then Minister of Innovation, László Palkovics, declared that vaccine production would begin at the end of 2022 at the national vaccine factory in Debrecen.
Last summer, new news about the factory arrived: its 2022 report revealed that despite the investment being delayed, dozens of people are already working at the company and getting paid.
