On November 17, 2023, at around 11:15 a.m., the police officers of the Szarvasi Police Department stopped a car and its driver on Fő utca in Békésszentandras. During the inspection, it turned out that the car did not have the number plate that was issued to it, it was transferred from another car. The police removed the license plate from the car during a previous measure, as the authority took it off the road due to the failure to transcribe the car. The police initiated criminal proceedings against the man driving the car on suspicion of misusing a unique identification number.
The man who was checked by the police on November 18, 2023 at around 9:15 a.m. in Hunyadi Street in Szarvas did not have a driver’s license. The man was detained for driving without a license and may be brought to court within three days.
The police detained a man for violating the rules of the restraining order, because on November 19, 2023, in Szeghalmon, he visited his brother several times, despite the fact that the district court forbade him to do so. The man can be brought to court within three days in an accelerated procedure.
According to the suspicion, the man against whom the police took action in Orosháza on November 19, 2023 at around 3 a.m. was driving drunk. He was driving a car in Kiss Ernő utca, but when he saw that the police wanted to stop him for a road inspection, he turned onto Kupa Vezér utca. After making a turn, it drifted off the road and hit a tree. The man was not injured, but the car was damaged. The result of the on-site alcohol test was positive for him, and the suspicion of drunken driving was also confirmed by further tests. The police took away his driver’s license and opened criminal proceedings against him.
