No one would have thought that there would be another increase in prices before the Whitsun long weekend, but the holtankoljak.hu announced an immediate change that took effect on Friday, May 26.
The price of fuel continues to rise in Hungary, in the case of gasoline, the rate of change is HUF 8 gross, while the price of diesel will increase by HUF 4 gross.
This means that in the second half of the week we will no longer be able to refuel our car at Wednesday’s prices, on Friday the average prices at domestic gas stations will be as follows:
- 95 gasoline: HUF 574/liter
- Gas oil: HUF 555/liter
It is not known whether this is already the drastic price increase process that the GKI had previously predicted, because they said back in mid-April that in the next two months it is expected in Hungary to such an extent that all gasoline will jump above HUF 600 again, both the price of diesel per liter.
