Every year, the hard of hearing club of the Baranya County Organization of SINOSZ organizes trips and tours of the country for its members, as needed.
Where and for how many days is always tailored to the needs of the club members, the trips are preceded by several months of planning and organization.
The destination of the first such trip of the year 2023 was Tata, from May 18.
The slogan of the trip: IT’S GOOD TO BE TOGETHER!
Taking advantage of the travel discounts of the SINOSZ membership card, I reached Tata by train and transfer in Kelenföld around 11 o’clock.
The team had lunch at the Alfa restaurant next to the train station, and after booking the accommodation, the 3-day program started in the afternoon with a sightseeing train and a visit to the castle.
The next day, the excursion continued with a visit to the Fényes nature trail and then a visit to the Esterházy Castle.
On the third day, the trip home was on the agenda. The accommodation had to be left by 10 o’clock. The train left for Pécs at 12:50 p.m., and the small team arrived home at 4:57 p.m., tired but enriched with a lot of experience and knowledge.
…and indeed: BEING TOGETHER IS GOOD!
