The manager justified the increase in ticket prices by saying that, in order to be competitive, Aquasziget needs to be able to generate higher income compared to the Termál Hotel in Visegrád and the Vadas Fürdő in Párkán. The specific business proposal was to uniformly increase the current prices applied on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays for all other days of the week from June 1. The proposal also states that, according to the proposal, the price list would return to the level before the increase from September.
For the presentation, the current and proposed prices were compared in a separate table, the latter of which was stated as follows: “Compared to the ticket prices of other spas providing the same service, the new prices of the entrance tickets will be established at an acceptable price level.” For example, the table shows that the 4,900 HUF adult, full-day ticket price on the Aqua Island on weekdays will be changed to HUF 6,000 according to the decision, and the price of the pensioner/student full-day ticket on weekdays will rise from HUF 3,000 to HUF 3,700.
According to the decision, the price of all types of entrance tickets to the spa will increase, but the ticket prices of certain services will not change.
