The fashion designer Péter Merő expressed a harsh criticism of those girls and women who unthinkingly imitate international stars, especially when it comes to dressing. The judge of Next Top Model Hungary said in the last broadcast of Palikék vilája by Manna that he thinks it is an exaggeration that girls already dress in almost a piece of underwear, while this trend should not be surpassed.

By the way, a good example of this is Enikő of Marriage at First Sight, whose at least three different sets are made up in the matchmaking show: bra, elegant trousers and blazer. “I don’t like to see this,” said Péter Merő about this trend, and added that people have too many clothes these days, and in his opinion, fashion inspiration from video clips is very wrong. The fashion designer turned ballet dancer also said that she is not interested in fashion trends. – I think that there is a tradition in Europe that could easily be traced back to when it comes to dressing. I think it’s sad that women are aping the ‘we show everything’ fashion. I’ve always believed that a dress is much sexier if it’s longer, with, say, a slit in the back, and on the other hand, a beautifully dressed woman, showing a little skin somewhere,” explained Péter Merő.
