Shawn Levy previously said that while Deadpool & Wolverine will indeed be the third film in which Deadpool appears, it will not be Deadpool 3.
Levy stated that the film was “going to be rough and funny”, as the ultimate goal was to “make the audience feel good in the cinema”. The director, writer and producer said early screenings of the film were “extremely promising.”
