Ana Benevides’ father has spoken out after his daughter died at Taylor Swift’s concert in Rio de Janeiro on Friday.

“I lost my only daughter, a happy and intelligent girl. He was going to graduate in psychology next April. There are no words to express my pain. He left home to fulfill a dream and never came back.”

The father stated that he wanted an investigation into the circumstances of Ana’s death. “I want it to be established whether concert-goers were indeed prohibited from bringing water and whether there was negligence in providing assistance.”

Ana Benevides died shortly before the start of Taylor Swift’s concert in Brazil due to the suffocating heat. According to a local newspaper, Ana, who was sitting in the first row, fainted, was revived in the stadium for about 40 minutes, and then on the way to the hospital, her heart stopped a second time. The doctors could no longer save him.
