Viber users can rejoice.
Viber has announced a partnership with the streaming service provider Spotify, as a result of which it offers its hundreds of millions of users a three-month free trial period for the Spotify Premium subscription. In addition, in some regions, people can get a discount of up to 90 percent on the service, according to the company’s announcement.
According to the announcement, Viber has a significant market share in Central and East Central Europe, as well as in Asia and the Pacific. Spotify is now taking advantage of this to promote its own platform in untapped regions.
The offer will be available in selected countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The list of countries participating in the partnership is as follows: France, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Slovakia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Iraq, Philippines islands and Vietnam.
Eligible users in these countries can activate a free premium subscription for three months.
Eligible users in the Philippines and Vietnam are also offered an exclusive discount (up to 90 percent) on the premium feature. Users will be able to activate the offer through several Viber in-app promotional solutions: native and rich media ads, banners on the Discover screen, in-app messages, posts on Viber’s official local channels.
