The 37-year-old Paralympian was photographed by the South African news portal Netwerk 24. Although he was able to leave the prison cell, he is still on parole.

Unbeknownst to him, the former tanned, athletic, handsome man has turned into a balding, gray-haired, broken man. The Paralympian, who was released from prison, was photographed in Pretoria, South Africa, a few kilometers from his uncle’s residence, so many believe that he is staying at his uncle’s place.

Pistorius became internationally famous in 2012, and the public quickly noticed the handsome double amputee athlete. A few months after his fame exploded, he shot his partner at the time, Reeva Steenkaamp, several times. He defended himself to authorities by saying he thought he was targeting an intruder.

Pistorius was originally sentenced to five years in prison for manslaughter, but the prosecution appealed, deeming the sentence too light. After that, his sentence was changed to 13 years and five months, of which he had already served more than half when he was released in January, so he can now continue to live on parole.
