The former football star says the company that the actor is interested in owes him a lot.

David Beckham is suing the F45 Training network and the Mark Wahlberg Investment Group. The former English national football star came into closer contact with Wahlberg when he moved to Los Angeles in the second half of the 2000s. Allegedly, he became the ambassador of F45 Training at the intervention of the actor, he also appeared in the brand’s promotional campaigns on social media sites. Since he himself has a lot of followers, he has quite a lot of advertising value. The posts have since been deleted.

However, according to Beckham, he was never paid for it. He says that they owe him about ten million dollars, as they even promised shares in addition to the money, but nothing came of it in the end either. Wahlberg and the two founders of F45, Rob Deutsch and Adam Gilchrist, on the other hand, want to have the case dropped. According to them, the accusations are baseless and Beckham is just trying to shift the blame to others.

The interesting thing about the case is that Beckham moved to the United States in 2007, when he joined the Los Angeles Galaxy team. They also became friends with Mark Wahlberg at that time, after it turned out that they lived in the same neighborhood. The actor introduced him to the F45 brand, but Wahlberg only bought a minority stake in the company much later, in 2019.
