Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas they celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary over the weekend, and on this occasion they both shared old wedding pictures on Instagram.

The actress also posted five pictures of the two of them, two of which were taken at their wedding. Zeta-Jones was 31 and Douglas was 56 when they said the happy yes. Underneath the pictures, he jokingly remarked that the actor deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for this.
The actor was also in a nostalgic mood, he posted a photo of the first time they danced on their lap as husband and wife.

In 1998, the They met at the Deauville Film Festival, where the actor invited her for a drink. The evening went a little wrong, because Douglas blurted out the following sentence: “You know, one day I will be the father of your children.” After that, he courted her for nine months, and finally his persistence paid off, as they got engaged in 1999 and married the following year. They had two children, Dylan was born a few months before their wedding, in August 2000, and Carys arrived in April 2003.
