The Chinese Zeekr also already has a single-space van, which was primarily designed for passenger transport, this is the Zeekr 009, which, according to the news, is well received by Chinese customers.
In the case of Zeekr, it is worth knowing that they work with what can be said to be better quality materials, but Chinese customers also like luxury, especially those who can afford it. A more serious market research probably also preceded the decision that a really full version of the 009 could come, which would satisfy all needs. This became the Zeekr 009 Grand minibus.
Zeekr’s second passenger transport model, the 009, was released in 2023. It is a large multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) designed to provide sustainable luxury for affluent families. Production of the original Zeekr 009 began over a year ago, complete with CATL’s energy-dense Qilin batteries, and has so far recorded respectable sales in China.
In the case of this model, the manufacturer has now raised the stake by one. The new four-seater Zeekr 009 Grand is designed to “extreme luxury” provide passengers, with polished marble, chrome accents, a giant LCD screen and booming speakers. And the icing on the cake is that this electric van is also very fast.

The rear cabin features a genuine hand-polished Himalayan marble ledge that sprawls beneath the 43-inch mini LED smart screen. To enhance the interior experience, Zeekr has also included a 31-speaker Yamaha Surround Sound system.
Rear passengers can use an 18 liter cooler with cooling and heating options and a built-in ultraviolet sterilization function. The real technical interest, however, is the installation of light curtain glasses in the car, the light transmittance of which can be adjusted in 10 levels. The Zeekr 009 Grand is available in China with a starting price of 789,000 Yuan (approx. USD 109,000).
