Index – Culture – Bookline organizes a book exchange picnic on the Kopaszi dam

--

On Saturday afternoon, between 3 and 7 p.m., Bookline welcomes everyone to a real book exchange picnic on Kopaszi-gát. At the musical event in the early afternoon, in addition to the exchange of books, there will also be an opportunity to talk, get to know each other and get together informally, while Bookline will give the participants an extra gift for every 100th book brought to the event.

Bookline supports all sustainability goals related to books, which is why for years it has been operating book exchange points, so-called Papozók, in several cities across the country – in Budapest at the Körút Campus of the ELTE Museum, Kopaszi Dam, Jurányi Ház and Mechwart Liget, as well as in Debrecen, Miskolc, Also in Pécs, Szeged, Szombathely and Veszprém. On April 23, on the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, the online bookseller filled Lapozos with new sets, so book lovers can choose from the best classic and contemporary fiction, biography, self-knowledge, and entertainment works. Lapózó, located at Mechwart Liget in Budapest, is entirely for children, so on these shelves you can find and exchange works for children.

In their announcement, the organizers ask visitors to the book exchange points that if they take a book from Lapozó, they place another volume they no longer use in its place – this way, it is guaranteed that there will be enough books for those who arrive later.
