TRAINING Gallery – WHO’S PAINTING TODAY? Claude Monet’s magical garden – Puppet show and creative activity for children aged 3-8
What would happen if we accidentally got the key to Claude Monet’s famous garden?
MA-KI, the painting monkey, invites us on another journey, this time to a hidden village in France, where one of the great figures of modern art lived and created. With the help of the interactive puppet show, the little ones can playfully get to know the great figures of universal and Hungarian fine arts. The always curious MA-KI often gets into trouble, so he constantly learns about life, perseverance, creativity and courage.
The performance is enriched by cards, moving paintings, music and film excerpts, and games, followed by a 45-minute craft session.

Visual artist Katinka Hajas – Lighting friends – Plaster figure painting workshop for children
Do you remember when you were afraid of the dark as a child? I remember when before going to sleep my parents turned off the lights and everything around me disappeared. Then I got fluorescent stickers, which still lit up just enough to fill the dark and unusual “space” with their soft light.
This experience inspired this children’s activity where children can make a fluorescent friend – they can paint a pre-made plaster figure with colorful and fluorescent paints.
And who imagines a friend with what pattern and color… The starry sky is the limit!

Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Center – The Rise and Fall of the Kossuth Banks – Retrospective board game
The board game evoking the past is an adventure consisting of several stations, during which we learn about the creation and fate of the Kossuth banks. At each station, playful challenges and puzzles await enterprising participants. By solving these, real stories and life paths come to life. It also reveals, for example, how the Hungarians hid the banks during the reprisal. It also sheds light on the measures with which the Habsburg Empire tried to destroy the first Hungarian-language paper money and thus erase the memory of the freedom struggle.
